Earth is TERMINALLY ILL
"I'm so so very sorry
to tell you this... but, there's nothing more we can do," are
words no family wants to hear. Every single day these words pierce
like daggers into hearts, to shock and dismay each and
every person who hears and is touched by this tragic news.
Many of us have been
following the public goodbye between Rory and Joey, who have
graciously shared their story and offered hope and grace to others who
are now facing, or will face, similar loss.
Trying to stay aware of
current events has its downside, because bad news sells better than
good news. It's easy to become overly concerned about the criminal
acts of individuals, crowds, or governments over whom we have no
Psalm 37 gives perspective
to the daily news. David begins by saying, "Do not fret because
of those who are evil" (v.1). Then he proceeds to outline for us
some alternatives to becoming overly anxious. In essence, David
suggests a better way of thinking about negative news in our world.
What would happen if,
instead of worrying about events beyond our control, we chose to trust
in the Lord? (v. 4) rather than fret without limits? Imagine the
freedom from worry we could have if we "commit [our] way to the
LORD" (v. 5). And how calm we could be by learning to "be
still before the LORD and wait patiently for him"? (v. 7).
News of trouble we cannot
change offers us an opportunity to set boundaries for our concerns. As
we trust God, commit our ways to Him, and rest in Him, our outlook
brightens. The struggles and trials may not disappear, but we will
discover that He gives us His peace in the midst of them. Author:
Dave Branon, Our Daily Bread
"Do not fret because of those who are evil
or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither,
like green plants they will soon die away. Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your
heart.†Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday
sun. Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes. Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;
do not fretóit leads only to evil. For those who are evil will be destroyed,
but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land."

Blood Moons, Shemitah & Year of Jubilee
While the Shemitah (Sabbath) Year of release can be a blessing for a people
who love the Lord and who hold Heaven's laws in high esteem, for nations or
a world that has turned its back on Almighty God, Elul 29 points to judgment
that would unfold over the months that follow.
Power of Popes & the Three Religions of Jerusalem
will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is
worshiped, so that he sets himself up in Godís temple, proclaiming himself

Challenge To Seventh-Day Adventists
As a former Seventh-Day Adventist, I spent
15 years in the church with seven years in Conference work, having found
commonality in Sabbath worship and shared beliefs as a young man in my
early 20's. Even today, 35 years later, friendships remain in the
Adventist church. However, in the 1990s as I continued the study of the
Scriptures for teaching each week, I discovered inconsistencies between
God's Word and several Adventist views; but even more, I was troubled by
the inability of members and leaders to let the Word speak for itself as
the primary source of truth.
Jews is Back in Vogue: Sign of the End-Times
see Anti-Semitism accelerating and growing
around the world, and we can be sure this is a sign that the end of this age
is drawing closer. Yeshua
forewarned, ďThen you will be handed over to be persecuted and put
to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me,"
Matthew 24:9. As global turmoil accelerates, so will hatred of the
Jews and anyone else who looks similar in terms of worship and beliefs.
Controversy & Trials
Worship at the Western Wall and Temple Mount will be
taken away, according to Bible prophecy--(Read Prophecy's
Warning for Jerusalem & Israel). The last
generation of overcomers have God's promise of the final unsealing of prophecy--including a more thorough understanding of final events that
center around the
days and 1,335 days of Daniel 12, which says, "From the
time that the daily [worship]... is abolished [at the Western Wall &
Temple Mount] and the abomination that causes desolation is set up [on the
Temple Mount], there will be 1,290 days. Blessed is the one who waits for
and reaches the end of the 1,335 days." In other words, a
disastrous tragedy such as an earthquake (link)
or war will soon stop daily worship at the Western Wall and Temple Mount.
Secret Rapture of the Church is a False Hope
believe Jesus could rapture the Church at any moment.
Others say He wonít do so until the middle of the tribulation.
Still others place the rapture at the very end of the tribulation
period. Are any of them right, or could the Bible teach a different
rapturism teaches that Christ will rapture the saved before a seven year
tribulation period or what is called the seventieth week of Daniel, thereby
saving the church from end-time persecution and martyrdom. Although
not new, this view gained wider acceptance in recent times by the Left
Behind book series, but what has been left behind is the real truth.
