A Father ...
... is not the God of the house, he knows how and when to stand down.
... knows that you can always look to The Father as a mentor ... He will show you the way.
... doesn't use his upbringing as an excuse as to why he isn't a good father.
... learns always from what is done, what was done, what wasn't done, and what could've been done.
... isn't afraid to shed a tear, it doesn't make you less of a man, it makes you more of a human and let's others know that they can count on you in a time of emotional need.
... teaches and leads by example and non-example.
... doesn't just plant the seed, he is fruitful by nurturing and cultivating the seeds as well.
Are you a father?
Happy Father's Day Folks

I know that being tired and weary are just outward feelings that we have when we feel pushed to the max. I've learned to look at it differently, take it on as being stretched out so that next time you can handle more and go further. Say to yourself, "I am not being pushed to the brink of breaking down, HE is simply stretching me to develop my faith."
All At Once

The WORD can act as a wall, a glass, and a mirror all at once. As a wall, it will stop you in your tracks. As a glass, it will see right through you. As a mirror, it will make you see and realize things about yourself that you never knew.
Too Far Gone
Mon, Jan 24 2011 06:18 AM
I've learned that you don't have to be perfect to be used by HIM, you just need to believe. Many times people think that they are too far gone to speak about their belief, too far gone to spread HIS word and have others listen, too far gone to have a positive influence on someone else's life. I'm here to tell you that you are never too far gone to be used by HIM, your life is a testimony of how HE can/will cover you if you remain strong in your belief and faith. Keep sharing your story, in any way you choose, someone will hear you, and they will be better for it, and so will you.
Quietly Observe and Listen Loudly
Thu, Jan 20 2011 05:00 AM
I've learned the importance of being a quiet observer. Sitting back, watching how others succeed and/or fail can do wonders for your own success in the future. I've also learned the importance being patient and listening loud to HIS words. I've learned that failing to do so can land you in a world of trouble. Trouble that only HE will be able to guide you through.
